ABOUT

Georgie Rickard is a composer and sound designer for film, television, and video games. Blending a strong classical foundation with modern production techniques, she creates emotionally driven scores that enhance storytelling and immerse audiences in cinematic and interactive worlds.

Music has been a central part of Georgie's life from an early age. She studied piano, violin, and clarinet extensively, attended music festivals, and began composing original piano works as a child. Her lifelong passion for music, combined with a love of film and video games, naturally led her to pursue a career in screen and interactive media composition.

Georgie has collaborated with filmmakers and game developers on a wide range of projects, including productions from Dead Vision Productions and New York University Tisch School of the Arts spanning film, animation, and television. Her credits include the feature film Boxcutter (2025), the web series Rooming with Dino (2023–present), and the video game Granddaughter Clock (2026), which received an Honorable Mention for Best Audio at the 2026 Global Game Jam. She also composed lobby music for the off-Broadway musical Romeo and Bernadette (2022). In addition to media composition, Georgie has performed her original piano works at venues including The DiMenna Center for Classical Music and has arranged music for chamber ensembles and studio performances.

Georgie recently earned a Master of Music in Screen Scoring from New York University. She also holds professional certificates from Berklee College of Music Online in Composing and Orchestrating for Film & TV and Game Audio Design and Production, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Business from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
